The Macallan Rare Cask 2024 Release is a single malt from Speyside, bottled at 43%. It is made from sherry-seasoned oak casks chosen for their depth of colour, sweet raisin character and rich, velvety texture.
The whisky is a ruby mahogany colour. The nose is soft vanilla and rich raisin, followed by fresh apple, lemon and orange. On the palate, sweet raisin leads, giving way to vanilla and dark chocolate with light citrus zest. The finish is long, rich and velvety.
