This is the 2023 release of The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, a Highland single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Sherry Oak Collection.
The whisky matured in European oak casks seasoned with sherry in Jerez, Spain, and has a light mahogany natural colour.
The nose brings sultanas, orange and ground cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied, with mature oak, stem ginger, soaked raisins, sticky dates and dark chocolate.
