The Macallan – Sherry Oak 18 Year Old (2026 Release)

This is the 2026 release of The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, an annual bottling in the Sherry Oak Collection. It was matured for a minimum of 18 years on The Macallan Estate in Speyside, led by sherry seasoned European oak casks from Jerez, and its colour is entirely natural. The presentation is part of The Macallan's collaboration with designer David Carson. His artwork interprets the journey of the sherry seasoned oak casks, with repeated references to the number 18 for sleeping casks, sherry-red tones and a touch of white for American oak. The nose brings treacle tart, stem ginger, soaked raisins and orange. The palate has dark chocolate coated ginger, dates and dried apricots, and the finish is long with dried fruits, ginger and oak.
