The Macallan – Sherry Oak 25 Year Old 2024 (75cl)

This is a 25 year old Speyside single malt from The Macallan, in the Sherry Oak range and sold in a 75cl bottle. The whisky is matured entirely in sherry casks, from start to finish, so its quarter century in Jerez oak shapes the whole character of the spirit. It is described as soft on the palate, with a creamy texture and a long, malty finish. In the glass, the flavours are of toffee, candied orange peel, cakebread and cocoa, with a rich sherry note running through them.
