The Macallan Sherry Oak 25 Year Old is a single malt from The Macallan Sherry Oak range, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for twenty-five years, exclusively in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain.
The whisky stayed in the same casks throughout, and it has a rich mahogany colour.
It is described as intensely rich and full in flavour, with citrus, dried fruits and wood smoke, along with vanilla and ginger spice. The finish is long.
