The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Years Old is a Speyside single malt from the 2024 release, matured for thirty years in hand-picked sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and has a natural dark mahogany colour, the deepest in the Sherry Oak range.
The nose offers honeyed figs and dates, with hints of caramelised pineapple and chocolate orange. The palate shows rich fruit cake and prunes with stem ginger, cinnamon and orange essence, leading to gentle toasted oak. The finish is long and rich.
