Amber Meadow is a limited edition single malt from The Macallan, part of its Harmony Collection and created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney. It is bottled at 44.2% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned oak casks and bourbon casks, and the packaging is made from repurposed meadow cuttings.
The nose is gentle, with honeyed malt, vanilla, oak, orange peel, ripe pear and a little wildflower. The palate brings butterscotch, citrus zest and creamy malt, with oak spice, hay and floral honey. The finish is long, with oak, vanilla and a lingering sweetness of wild honey and meadow herbs.
