The Matsui Mizunara Cask is a Japanese single malt from the Kurayoshi Distillery, matured in mizunara oak. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fresh and floral, followed by sweet vanilla, baking spices and a touch of creamy coconut. The palate is velvety, with rich oak, cinnamon, ginger and a hint of chilli, balanced by caramel sweetness.
The finish is soft and silky with caramel, lingering alongside floral oak, tobacco and vanilla pod.
