The Shin is a 10 year old Japanese blended malt from Shinobu Distillery, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in Mizunara, the Japanese oak.
The nose is markedly sweet, with dried dark fruit such as raisins and dates coming forward, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, sweet vanilla and dark dried fruit are followed by sandalwood and oriental spices.
