A 15 year old Japanese pure malt whisky finished in Mizunara, the Japanese oak, and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The Mizunara finish shapes the character of the whisky. On the nose the oak sits alongside deep wood, maltose, nectar, blueberry and milk coffee. The palate is oily, with ripe fruit, lemon peel, leather, cinnamon and ginger.
The finish has a hint of sweet malt, with aromas of wooden barrels and a touch of fruit.
