The Shinobu Daimyo-No is a Japanese blended whisky, made from grain and malt whiskies aged in a variety of oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV. The name refers to the influential samurai who governed Japan from the 1100s to the 1800s.
The blend has a strong aroma and a well-balanced flavour.
The nose brings toasted grains, ripe orchard fruit, vanilla and subtle nutty notes. The palate is balanced between sweetness and oak, with hints of caramel and a touch of spice. The finish is long and warm, with a little dried fruit.
