Koshi-No Pure Malt Mizunara Oak is a Japanese malt whisky from The Shinobu, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Mr. Usami selects whiskies from around the world, which are held first in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak. The colour is natural, with nothing added. The nose brings vanilla, plums and mint. On the palate it is slightly sweet, with spice, vanilla, citrus and smoky oak. The finish is medium in length, sweet, woody and minty, with a slight bitterness at the end.
