The Shinobu Small Batch is a Japanese single malt whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition. The whisky is matured in bourbon barrels and Mizunara casks for a minimum of three years, then blended and left to harmonise. The nose combines vanilla and oily notes with chocolate, cacao and a hint of passion fruit, finishing with Mizunara oak. The palate is smooth and mellow, with gentle spice, vanilla and citrus, then light oak smoke. The finish is medium, sweet and woody, with a slight bitterness.
