The Singleton 14 Special Release 2023 is a limited edition 14-year-old single malt from Speyside, Scotland, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon and refill American oak casks and bottled at cask strength, 52.8% ABV.
The nose combines ripe orchard fruit, buttery shortbread and vanilla with dried herbs and a touch of oak spice. The palate is medium-bodied and balanced, with baked apple, caramelised brown sugar, toasted nuts and a creamy nuttiness. The finish is long, fading slowly with honey and a gentle spicy warmth.
