This is a peated Highland single malt selected by Thompson Bros. from a Highland distillery that is not named. It matured for more than twelve years before spending three further years in ex-rum casks.
It is bottled at 45.7% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour, and has a pale gold appearance. Only 895 bottles were filled. Thompson Bros. suggest serving it with tomato gazpacho.
The character is a balance of peat and caramel sweetness, with smoky notes alongside a tropical complexity.
