Togouchi 15 Years Old is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It joins a malt whisky with a balanced peat aroma and a soft sweetness of vanilla and chocolate to a grain whisky with citrus notes and a light flavour. The colour is golden. The nose opens with delicate, elegant sweet fruit, then turns to fresh spice and citrus. The palate is mellow and smooth, with vanilla sweetness keeping the smoky peat mild. The finish carries bitter chocolate and nuts, with lingering sweetness.
