Togouchi 15 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It combines a malt whisky with a gentle peat aroma and a soft sweetness of vanilla and chocolate with a light grain whisky carrying citrus notes. The colour is golden. The nose opens with delicate, sweet fruit, then moves to fresh spice and citrus. On the palate it is mellow and smooth, with vanilla sweetness keeping the smoky peat mild. The finish brings bitter chocolate and nuts, with the sweetness lingering.
