Togouchi Blended Whisky 8 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

An 8 year old blended whisky from Togouchi, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines grain spirits matured for eight years in a Togouchi cellar with malt whisky that has a balanced peat fragrance and a soft sweetness of vanilla and chocolate. The colour is light golden. The nose opens with strong spice and earthy tones, followed by smoky peat. The palate is clean and dry, with a spicy note like young grass, and the finish is spicy and smoky.
