Togouchi Japanese Blended Whisky Sake Cask Finish (40%)

Togouchi Sake Cask Finish is a Japanese blended whisky from Sakurao Distillery, made by Chugoku Jozo, a company known for its sake. It is bottled at 40% ABV. The whisky matures in imported bourbon casks kept in an old railway tunnel. It then moves to sake casks for a finish of three months, or as long as the master blender judges right. The nose offers vanilla, green apples, malt and a light spice from the sake casks. The palate is fairly winey, with good body and hints of wood. The long finish brings white fruits, spice and malt.
