Togouchi Premium is a Japanese blended whisky from Sakurao Distillery in the Hiroshima region, made from malt and grain whiskies and aged in bourbon barrels. Around 10% of the blend is malted barley, which gives it browned, nutty notes.
The nose is bright, with walnut and grassy notes. The palate is sweet, with hazelnut, chocolate, honey and pepper. The finish is subtle, with warm spices and nutmeg.
