Togouchi Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Togouchi Single Malt is a Japanese whisky bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in bourbon barrels for more than three years in the Togouchi tunnel, an old railway tunnel in the town of Akiota that now serves as a warehouse. The tunnel stays cool through all four seasons, and the casks are left to mature in its dark space, absorbing the subtle scent of the surrounding forest. The colour is golden. The nose offers vanilla, apple, marmalade and melon. The taste is light and smooth with a clean sweetness, and the finish is refreshing and gentle with a crisp end.
