A 13-year-old heavily peated Tomatin single malt, bottled by Milroy's as part of its Soho Selection at 50.4% ABV. It was distilled in 2010 and matured in an American oak hogshead. The cask was the first one filled that year, which is why the selection carries the number 1. Tomatin is usually associated with a soft, fruity Highland character, so the peat smoke and earthy depth here show a different side of the distillery. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colour. The notes describe malty character with spiced clementine, smoked pistachios and an underlying sweetness, in a rich, round and warming whisky.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
