A bottle of Tullamore Dew Irish Liqueur Whiskey, a distillery bottling marked 70 Proof and thought to date from the 1950s. The label reads 'Produce of The Republic of Ireland', which points to bottling after 1949 and probably before the Tullamore distillery in County Offaly closed in 1954. The initials D.E.W. in the brand name belong to Daniel E. Williams, a former manager and owner of the distillery who expanded it. His slogan, 'Give Every Man His Dew', remains a catchphrase in Ireland. After the closure the brand passed to John Power & Son of Dublin, then to the C&C Group in 1994 and to William Grant & Sons in 2010.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
