Uais Triple Blend Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Uais is a triple blend Irish whiskey made from 25% pot still, 25% single malt and 50% single grain whiskey, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The components matured in ex-bourbon casks and new oak, also called virgin oak. The name recalls Colla Uais, one of the three brothers of Irish legend known as the Three Collas. The bottle is made of fully recycled glass, with a label of recycled paper, a wooden stopper and a plant-based biodegradable seal. The nose shows pear and apple. The palate is smooth, with honey, butterscotch, tropical fruit, vanilla toffee and banana, and the sweet finish brings fudge and plenty of vanilla.
