Umiki is a Japanese blended whisky from Yoshino, in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV. It blends Japanese malt with imported grain whiskies and desalinated ocean water, then is finished in Japanese pine barrels. The name joins the Japanese words for ocean and tree. On the nose there is sea breeze, the palate is rounded and floral, and the finish is soothing and fresh.
