Port Cask Reserve is an American single malt made by the Virginia Distillery Company. It matures first in ex-bourbon casks, then spends at least 12 months in tawny port casks from Portugal and port casks from Virginia. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and with no added colour.
The nose is fruity, with little smoke. The palate is gently sweet with fruity notes, and the finish is mild, with a long-lasting sweetness.
