Courage & Conviction Bourbon Cask is an American single malt from Virginia Distillery Company of Lovingston, Virginia, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made from 100% malted barley and distilled in two Scottish-made copper pot stills.
The spirit matures for at least four years, exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks from Kentucky. The casks are kept in houses without climate control, so Virginia's hot summers and cold winters work on the whisky throughout.
Tasting notes describe vanilla bean, toffee and toasted oak on the nose, orange oil and toasted coconut on the palate, and a soft, medium-length finish with cinnamon warmth.
