Virginia Distillery Courage & Conviction Cuvée Cask American Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Courage & Conviction Cuvée Cask is an American single malt from Virginia Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made entirely from malted barley, is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The whisky spends at least four years in first-fill European Cuvée red wine casks. Before filling, each cask is shaved, toasted and re-charred, a process known as STR. The nose offers plum, dark raspberry, chocolate cake and clove. On the palate come tart cherry, blood orange, cocoa and burnt sugar, and the finish brings candied walnuts and ginger.
