This is an Irish single malt from Waterford Distillery, part of its Single Farm Origin series. The barley all came from one farm, Ballykilcavan. The whisky was distilled on 29 February 2016 and bottled on 8 July 2020, after four years of maturation. It was bottled at 50% ABV without chill filtration, in a run of about 9,000 bottles of 70cl. The nose brings fresh grain, green apple, pear, citrus and light spice. The palate is lively and dry, with malt, lime, white pepper, green herbs and a mineral note. The finish is tight, clean and lingering.
