Waterford Ballykilcavan Edition 1.2 is an Irish single malt from Waterford Distillery, bottled at cask strength, 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is a single farm origin whisky, made entirely from Taberna barley grown by David Walsh-Kemmis at Ballykilcavan, west of the River Barrow in County Laois. The spirit was matured in a combination of French and American oak casks. Tasting notes describe fresh cereal and orchard fruit on the nose, a rich, layered palate of vanilla, spice and dried fruit, and a long, warming finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
