Waterford – Ballymorgan 1.2 Single Farm Irish Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

Waterford Ballymorgan 1.2 is a single farm Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 50% ABV. It is made from Overture barley grown by Robert Milne in Clonroche, Co. Wexford, where the loamy clay soils derive from slate and granite. The nose brings dried herbs, malt, red apple, plums, milk chocolate, vanilla, fennel seed and custard. On the palate there is apple crumble with toffee, milk chocolate and a little fudge, along with cloves, green apple in caramel, pepper heat and aniseed. The finish is a lingering spice heat with a mouth-watering oiliness.
