Waterford – Ballymorgan 1.2 Single Farm Irish Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

Ballymorgan 1.2 is a single farm Irish whiskey from Waterford, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from Overture barley grown by Robert Milne in Clonroche, County Wexford, on loamy clay soils derived from slate and granite. The nose brings dried herbs, malt, red apple, plums, milk chocolate, vanilla, fennel seeds and custard. On the palate there is apple crumble with toffee, milk chocolate, a little fudge and cloves, alongside green apple in caramel, pepper heat and aniseed. The finish is a lingering spice heat with a mouth-watering oiliness.
