Ballymorgan 1.2 is an Irish single malt from Waterford, part of the Single Farm Origin series, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. The series uses 100% Irish barley from individual farms and harvests. The nose brings green apple, milk chocolate, malt, pears, dried fruit, and rhubarb and custard, with more custard than rhubarb. The palate has caramel-coated green apple, cloves, custard, liquorice and mint chocolate with a spicy tingle. A gentle heat lingers in the finish, leaving oiliness and spicy chocolate.
