Waterford – Ballymorgan Edition 1.1 (70cl, 50%)

Waterford Ballymorgan Edition 1.1 is an Irish single malt made from barley grown by Robert Milne on a single farm in the east of Ireland, where the soils are loamy and rich in clay. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration. This is the first Ballymorgan edition and a limited release in Waterford's Single Farm Origin range, which sets out to show how barley from individual Irish farms shapes the whisky. It is described as markedly malty, with pronounced chocolate and caramel, lifted by orchard fruit and soft spice.
