Waterford – Bannow Island 1.2

This is the second Waterford single malt made from barley grown on the Bannow Island farm in Wexford. Ed Harpur grew the barley, which was harvested in September 2015. The spirit was distilled in week 25 of 2016 and bottled in July 2020, after 3 years, 10 months and 22 days in cask. Waterford sources all its barley from 46 local farms and keeps each farm's grain separate, an approach the distillery describes as terroir-focused.
