Waterford – Biodynamic Luna 1.1 Irish Whisky (50%)

Waterford Biodynamic Luna 1.1 is an Irish whisky at 50%, launched in 2021 by Waterford founder Mark Reynier as his own biodynamic whisky. Biodynamic farming goes beyond the usual organic approach, with a focus on healthy soil, and Reynier took an interest in it during his earlier years in the wine trade. The barley comes from three different biodynamic farms. The whisky matured for over three years in a mix of first-fill, virgin, French and vin doux naturel casks, the last of these a sweet wine cask.
