Waterford – Cuvée Koffi (50%)

Waterford Cuvée Koffi is an Irish single malt developed by Mark Reynier and his team, and the start of the distillery's Core Range. It is bottled at 50%, is non-chill-filtered and has natural colour. It is a cuvée of 24 single farm origin whiskies, each matured for at least six years, brought together by head distiller Ned Gahan. The casks are 36% first fill bourbon barrels, 26% vin doux naturel casks (Oloroso, Moscatel and Amarone), 21% premium French oak, including casks from Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Lafite, and 17% virgin American oak. Its notes are sweet fruit, spice and a touch of oak. The label carries artwork by the French artist Nathanaël Koffi.
