Fenniscourt 1.1 is one of the first peated releases from Waterford Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 50% abv. It was distilled on 10 September 2018 and bottled in August 2022, with 11,898 bottles produced. The peat level is 50 PPM. It was matured in first fill and virgin American oak casks, premium French wine casks and ex-sauternes casks. The nose is peaty and salty, with pear peel, moss, hay, lemon zest, dried thyme, malt biscuits and flowers. The palate is earthy, with barbecue spices, clove, leather, maraschino cherries and gooseberries. The finish is soft, earthy and dry.
