Waterford – Lakefield 1.1 Irish Whiskey (50%)

Waterford Lakefield 1.1 is a single farm origin Irish single malt, bottled at 50% ABV. Its barley comes from Lakefield Farm, which is worked by Seamus Duggan, who won the Barley Grower of the Year Trophy for his 2019 harvest. The farm sits on hilly lowland, with deep, well-drained loam soils of the Elton series formed from limestone and sandstone. These are said to give consistently exceptional barley. Waterford focuses on local barley and works with a range of nearby farms.
