Waterford SFO Lakefield Edition 1.1 is a limited Irish single malt, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from Mark Reynier and his team, as part of a new series of three Single Farm releases. The barley was grown and harvested in 2016 in County Laois by Seamus Duggan, whom the Waterford team named farmer of the year in 2019. The soil on the farm is rich, fertile, clay-like and well drained. The whisky is described as very pastry-like, with plenty of malty, mouth-filling flavour alongside notes of conifer resin, flowers and gentle spice.
