This is Sheestown Edition 1.1 from Waterford's Single Farm Origin series, an Irish single malt bottled in 2020. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The series is built around single farms, and this edition carries the Sheestown name. It is described as combining fruit and malt with spicy cask notes, in a firm, clearly structured style. With a little time in the glass the character rounds out and the individual aromas become easier to pick out.
