Waterford – Single Farm Origin Broomlands Edition 1.1 (70cl, 50%)

An Irish single malt from Waterford and the first bottling made from barley grown at Broomlands farm. It was distilled in week 43 of 2016 and bottled in July 2020, with an outturn of 3000 bottles. It matured in first-fill bourbon, French oak, virgin oak and Vin Doux casks, and is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings malty biscuits, flowers, blood orange, milk chocolate and green grapes. The palate starts with spice and clove, then turns soft as a duvet. The finish is fairly dry and malty.
