Waterford – Single Farm Origin Broomlands Edition 1.2 (70cl)

This is the second Waterford bottling made from barley grown at Broomlands Farm, an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle. The barley was harvested on 20 August 2015, and the whisky was bottled in September 2020. The outturn was 10,000 bottles. It matured in first-fill bourbon casks, virgin American oak, French wine casks and Madeira casks. The nose shows toffee, green apple, apricot jam, lemon zest, old leather, dark chocolate and malt biscuits. The palate is oily, with gentle spice and lemon sorbet. The finish is dry, with a soft peppery warmth.
