Waterford The Cuvée 1.1 is an Irish whiskey bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It brings together Single Farm Origins, whiskies made from locally grown Irish barley with extended fermentations and unhurried distillation, and matured in a range of oak.
The nose offers orange peel, fresh soil, bread crust and brown sugar, with milk chocolate, fruit salad and fig roll biscuits. The palate is spicy, with white pepper, grapefruit and liquorice alongside cherries, cocoa powder and wine gums. The finish is dry and spicy, with a note of golden peach.
