Waterford – The Cuvée (70cl, 50%)

Waterford The Cuvée is an Irish single malt in a 70cl bottle at 50%. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The distillery puts the terroir of its barley first, and this whisky combines distillates from different farms. A mix of casks adds depth without covering the character of the barley. The nose offers fresh cereal, apple, pear and citrus, with vanilla and light spice. On the palate there are malt, honey, spice and pale fruit, with a creamy texture. The finish is medium in length and slightly dry, with spice and fruity notes.
