Waterford – Tinnashrule 1.1 Germany Exclusive (50%)

Waterford Tinnashrule 1.1 is a young Irish whiskey from the Waterford distillery on Ireland's south-east coast, bottled at 50%. It takes its name from Tinnashrule Farm, an hour's drive from the distillery, where the barley was grown. The cask recipe is varied: 46% first-fill American oak, 22% new American oak, 17% vin doux naturel casks (sherry and Sauternes) and 15% French oak casks that previously held Margaux red wine. It is described as a lively whiskey with sweet, chewy, grainy and mildly fruity flavours.
