A five-year-old single malt from West Cork Distillers, finished in rum casks and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled, chill-filtered and has no colouring added.
The spherical bottle echoes the maritime theme of the range, and its offset spout is meant to make pouring easier.
The nose brings pineapple and mango with honey and vanilla, plus berries, peach and apricot. On the palate there is soft honey sweetness with caramel, berries and tropical fruit, set against spicy oak. The finish is long, pairing gentle sweetness with dry oak.
