This is a triple distilled single malt Irish whiskey from West Cork Distillers, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It comes from the Maritime series.
The whiskey is matured in first-fill bourbon casks and then finished in Calvados Garnier casks.
On the nose there are ripe apple and pear slices with creamy vanilla and caramelised sugar. The palate brings gentle malt sweetness, jasmine and nutmeg, with a touch of lemon peel and pale grapes. The finish is soft toffee with a little white pepper.
