West Cork Maritime Rum Cask (70cl, 46%)

West Cork Maritime Rum Cask is a triple-distilled Irish single malt, made in small batches from Irish malted barley and Mullaghmesha mountain water. It matures first in first-fill bourbon casks, then receives a finish in rum casks from Consorcio Licorero Nacional. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The round bottle, with its offset spout, was made specially for the Maritime range and reflects the maritime background of the founders. On the nose there is honey, vanilla, caramel and chocolate, with a little fresh and dried fruit. The palate brings roasted notes of coffee, toast and chocolate, and the finish is dry.
