West Cork Port Cask Finished (70cl, 43%)

A single malt Irish whiskey from West Cork Distillery, bottled in small batches at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The whiskey matured in first-fill bourbon casks and was then finished in Quinta da Boeira port casks. The nose is intense, with berry fruit such as blackberries and blueberries, alongside grapes, fruit juice and yeast. The palate stays fruity, with blueberry, nutmeg, cinnamon, citrus and caramel. The finish puts the emphasis on fruit, ginger and pepper.
